Midlife Reality Check

Columnist Jennifer Grant tackles the ups and downs of middle age. She looks at her own life and the changes occurring giving the reader an emotional and at times humorus glimpse at the middle years of adulthood. "When Did Everybody Else Get So Old?" provides a reality check for many parents with children. Grant writes, "When my children were very young...I orchestrated so many aspects of their lives...I realized their lives have been in God's hands all along..." (p.99). A sweet recollection of memories and maybe some not so sweet. But in the end it comes back to King Solomon's words "there is a time..." And so it is, for each of us to pass through this time known as middle age. Recommend this book for women going through this phase of their lives. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Handlebar Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.
