Laughter can strengthen the immune system and decrease stress hormones. No prescription needed, just some good old belly laughs! Reading She Laughs: Choosing Faith Over Fear, produces those belly laughs. Carolanne Miljavac's latest novel reads like two friends visiting each other over a cup of tea sharing their lives - the good, the bad, and the ugly - all with laughter! Each chapter focuses on a fear that one can experience in life and then how laughter can help you through that experience, that moment. I so can relate to some of the experiences that Miljavac writes about in her book, particularly the bathroom experience. My heart resonated with the statement Miljavac writes "it takes so much more strength to live each day with a humble heart than to bulldoze through life driven by pride (p.100)." So true. Start the new year, the new month, a new week by reading She laughs. Your stress hormones will be oh so thankful for the vacation!
