An Intentional Journey

Life is hectic. It's hard to squeeze in our faith, particularly practicing what one believes. We want everything to be as quick as Google. But Alicia Britt Chole has a different message about faith in "The Sacred Slow." Inside the covers of this devotional one will discover an intimacy with God, how to intentionally feed the soul, and grow one's faith and relationship with God. Each of the 52 chapters are broken down into readings with reflective questions or as Chole calls it "guided responses." Together, moving at one's own pace, the exercises move one to intentionally experience God and his love. This is not a book to breeze through if one wants to get the most out of it. It is truly a journey of self-discovery. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Handlebar Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.
