“The Beloved Christmas Quilt” includes three novellas by three different authors within the Brunstetter family. Just as the Christmas Quilt is passed on through three generations from mother to daughter so to in the Brunstetter family as grandmother, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter each write one of the stories. In the first story, Luella is caring for her friend, Dena, who is having health issues. As Dena’s health deteriorates, she gives her Christmas Quilt to Luella telling her someday she can pass it on to her eldest daughter. Thus, begins the legacy of the Christmas Quilt. These are sweet, charming Amish stories shedding light on each woman’s reliance on God and faith. Wonderful reads as the Christmas season approaches.
