Once again, Mark Batterson gets down to a core issue that needs addreessed in our society in his new book "Whisper: How to hear the voice of God." That to hear God we need to get rid of our busyness and all the noise in our lives, to just be. Batterson mentions that silence is proactive listening. He goes on to describe his seven love languages: scripture, desires, doors, dreams, people, promptings, and pain. A phenonmenal, life-changing book. Quit focusing on the things of the world, and instead, focus on what matters most God is love. You won't be disappointed with this easy to understand book.
