Brunstetter, the reader is returned to Lancaster county where both the real Sara Murray and Michelle Taylor are living with the Lapps. Michelle, who impersonated Sara in the first book, has asked for forgiveness from the Lapps, from the community, and Sara for what she did. She has gone so far as to begin taking baptismal classes to become Amish. Although Michelle at times doubts herself, she learns to take one day at a time. Only Sara has a hard time forgiving Michelle and forgiving her deceased mother for not telling her about her Amish roots. As Sara finds out it is hard to forgive. To late go of the past. A Legacy Across the Generations

Robin Lee Hatcher's newest book, "Who I am With You," is set in Hope Springs, Idaho as Jessica Mason tries to cope with the loss of her husband and daughter by shutting herself away from the community she once enjoyed. The secret she carries would bury her but for the unborn child she carries she continues on with her online business. To help Jessica, her mother passes on to her her grandmother's Bible which had belonged to her father. Her great-grandfather's story from the 1930's is woven in with Jessica's story making for an interesting contrast. To add another twist to the story line, the reader meets Ridley Chesterfield. Ridley comes to Hope Springs to hide away from the political scandal he was involved in. Ridley is Jessica's new and nearest neighbor. Together they learn about forgiveness, faith, and new beginnings. A charming story I found hard to stop reading. I particularly liked how Hatcher wove in the story from several generations before. I can't wait for the next book in the Legacy of Faith series! An Emotional Jar

Inspiring, historical romance, "My Heart Belongs in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania: Clarissa's Conflict," is set during the Civil War years. Clarissa Avery Ross is a spirited young woman living with her parents in Gettysburg doing all the things expected of a proper young lady except she holds a secret: she is a conductor for the Underground Railroad. Another conductor who often assists her is known to her only as "Liberty" and wears a black hood over his face. She finds the presence of this mysterious man to be infuriating and annoying but also intriguing. On the other hand, Kyle Forrester, a young seminary student, is all Clarissa dreams about for a future husband. That is until she hears his views about slavery and the outbreak of war. Now she is torn between two different men, two different views of the war, and how to respond when the war comes to Gettysburg. Murray Pura does a fine job of developing the story line against the backdrop of the Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg. He made it feel very real. Girl Power

Jean Fischer has written a wonderful book for your tween entitled "100 Extraordinary Stories for Courageous Girls: Unforgettable Tales of Women of Faith." The title sums up what the book is about. There is a short biography of each of the 100 women from over the centuries whose faith helped them. (I found the stories interesting as an adult!) A question related to the biography is then asked for the young reader to consider. Lastly, a Bible verse is included after each biography. This book is not only an encouragement for your tween but could be used as a devotional, in a book club, or a home-study course. Amish Romance
